According to our association by-laws, the GADA President should rotate between a public and a private institution each year. Due to a series of unprecedented events, we have unfortunately had the same president for three years, but we are back in the rotation to recruit a President-Elect from a private institution. Beverly F. Mitchell Leadership Award
The Beverly Mitchell award is given to a person who has made exceptional contributions to GADA or to a state organization involved in education preparation. A letter of nomination must describe how the nominee fulfills the selection criteria. A copy of the nominee’s curriculum vitae must be included with the nomination.
